 2011-05-09 5 PICTURES OF A FATHER selected for HOT DOCS and VISIONS DU RÉEL Nadia J. El Said's creative documentary "5 Pictures of a Father" has been selected for two truly prestigious documentary film festivals: At Visions du Réel, Nyon International Film Festival (April 7-13) the film participates in the Premiers Pas (First Steps) section. The screenings will be followed by a discussion with the director Nadia J. El Said. At the 2011 Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival (April 28-May 8) the film competes for the Award for Best Short Documentary and the Audience Award. We would like to thank Hot Docs and Visions du Réel for giving the film a great festival kick-off! The team behind the film is director Nadia J. El Said, cinematographer Linda Wassberg, film editor Henrik Thiesen, sound designer Nicolai Linck, composer Johan Hägglund, and producer Anna-Maria Kantarius. The film had national premiere at CPH DOX in November 2010. |
